Todd Humphries

Todd Humphries is currently the Veterans’ Affairs Officer for Cherokee County, SC.
Todd is past President of the South Carolina Association of County Veterans Affairs Officers, Past Commander and Past District Commander and current Post Service Officer of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 344, and the current Commander of the Disabled American Veterans #54 in Gaffney, SC.
Todd is also currently the Chairman of the Cherokee County Veterans Appreciation Park Board of Directors. He is the Adjutant of American Legion Post #109 and an associate member of the Broad River Leathernecks Detachment of the Marine Corps League. He also sits on the Selective Service Board in SC.
Todd joined the U.S. Army in 1993 and was discharged after a tour in Iraq in 2006. He served in Bosnia Herzegovina in 1995, in Germany from 1994 -1997, and in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 – 2005.
Todd’s military awards are: the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, National Defense Medal with Two Bronze Stars, Iraq Campaign Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with (M) Device, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal with Two Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with Number 3,Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, South Carolina Guard Achievement Ribbon, Driver and Mechanic Badge, Expert Rifle Badge, Expert Grenade as well as several Certificates of Achievement and personal awards.
Todd was educated in the North Carolina public school system and at Limestone University.
