Outreach Gets Vets Enrolled in VA Health Care Fast

A Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) veteran service officer (VSO) based in Massachusetts participated in an outreach event in October, setting up and manning a booth for the local town fair’s Military Day. 

The VSO supplied benefits information and set up several follow-up appointments with eligible veterans. He also was able to get nine veterans enrolled for VA health care that day.
